Quotations can be dealt with online. Orders can be confirmed and paid for over the phone or in person at our warehouse. Please email general queries to info@capitalhcatering.com
Follow these simple steps to request a quotation. When you submit the online form, we will calculate a precise quotation and a member of our team will contact you by phone or email to discuss your requirements.
  1. Browse the website for the item/s you require.
  2. Select any item/s required for your event, enter quantity then click on 'Add to quote'.
  3. Once you have selected everything you need, review your basket and click on 'Submit for quote'.
  4. Complete the form with your contact and event details. Then, select any additional services required (delivery/collection, washing-up, etc).
  5. Click 'Submit for quote'. A member of our team will review your order/ request and be in contact within 24-hours with a precise quotation.

We accept payment by cash, all major debit/ credit cards and BACS. Payment must be made and clear in our account before the goods are dispatched. Account customers will receive an invoice and must meet the 30 day payment terms, unless negotiated otherwise.

All cheques presented in payment for a hire of equipment must be supported by a valid bank guarantee card.

New customers are always welcome. To open an account we will need to see means of identification. A driving licence or passport and proof of address will need to be presented prior to any goods being dispatched for hire. A minimum deposit of £100 will apply to all orders. This amount can vary depending on the size and value of the order.
Customers can choose to collect their order from our warehouse or have it delivered straight to their door or event. Our delivery and collection charges vary and are dependent on the size of the job, delivery location and time of delivery. Special delivery arrangements need to be confirmed when placing the order. Deliveries and collections outside of normal working hours can also be arranged if required, at an additional cost. Please call a member of our team for a quote.
Cancellations can be made and the following timeframes and the cancellation fees apply:
  • Six weeks prior to delivery – no charge
  • One month prior to delivery – a cancellation fee of 25% of the hire value will apply
  • Two weeks prior to delivery – a cancellation fee of 50% of the hire value will apply
  • Less than two weeks - a cancellation fee of 75% of the hire value will apply

Any amendments to orders must be made in a timely manner. Please allow 48 hours’ notice for additional stock requirements, subject to availability.
Goods, including cutlery, crockery, tableware, glassware, and catering equipment may be returned soiled. A washing-up service is available at a service charge of 20% of the hire cost on the washable items. Please note: washing-up service is not applicable to linen as this cost is included in the hire charge.
Prices quoted are based on a 24-hour or weekend hire period. A minimum hire charge of £20 + VAT applies to all orders.

Extended hire rates are as follows:

Friday to Monday charged at one day's hire only  
2-3 days one and half times days hire
1 week twice one days hire
2 weeks four times one days hire
3 weeks five times one days hire
4 weeks six times one days hire

Longer periods are subject to negotiation.
